Today normal eating day

For breakfast i had ready break with sugar for about 500 calories.

For lunch i had cheese and tomato toastie for about 600 calories.

Since lunch  have had some chocolate and a banana for about 400 calories.

For dinner i will be having sausage mash and swede for about 700 calories.

Will have home made apple pie for about 500 calories.

With that and some tea and odd snacks here and there i have had ab0ut another 500 calories.

I probably have more tea and snack tonight for about 150 calories.

So today i will have had 3400 calories.

mmmm that explains the slow down in the weight lost as i weighed myself this morning and i was 17 stone 7 lb

I think i will need to try cut back on the none fasting days but still good i am losing weight even with being naughty.

Fasting day

Ok i had nothing to eat form 6:30pm last night all i have had is water.

Come 10:30am i had a plum for 20 calories.

At lunch i had  banana for 90 calories.

At dinner i had garlic lemon chicken with veg for about 150 calories.

At snack time i had white toast with jam with cup of tea for 150 calories.

So i had about 410 calories out of my 600 calories for yesterday.

Well for breakfast i had a bowl of rice crisps about 300 calories, a banana for a snack 90 calories, cup of tea 45 calories and bar of chocolate 500 calories

Last thing for tonight

Well the last thing i am having tonight is cup of tea for another 45 calories that means i am still under my 600 calories per fasting day.

Fasting snack time

Well for a snack before i call it a night i am having toast with jam approx 110 calories and cup of tea approx 45 calories. So far today i have had 540 calories so i have 60 calories left.

Fasting day so far

Well i have had nothing from 6:30pm last night and the first thing i had was about 11am was 1 plum about 20 calories. Then at lunch i had a banana about 90 calories. And 45 minutes ago i had a wafer about 45 calories.

I will be having mince and tatties for about 230 calories.

So until 7am tomorrow i will have about 215 calories to spare will update if i use them.

2 straight days?

Well i have decided not to do 2 straights days of fasting as i have lost of of the weight i put on last week so i think i can still lose a but more to be lower than two weeks ago.

Breakfast and lunch

Ok for breakfast i have had rice crisps with full fat milk and cup of tea approx 300 calories.

I had a yogurt and cheese string midday approx about 600 calories.

For lunch i had white bread sandwich with cheese and tomato approx 400 calories.

Fasting day night time

Well i held off to 5pm before having anything to eat at all, i had 3 strawberries 10 calories, then had my tomato pasta 300 calories, then later in the night i had cup of tea 30 calories, toast and jam 120 calories, and banana 80 calories bring my daily total to 540 out of my 600 calorie allowance for the day, i weighed myself and i was 17 stone 11 lbs so i have lost some of what i gained last week because i never took my medicine for my stomach.

Fasting day

Well i ain't had anything since 6:30pm last night, all i have had is about a litre of water but i will need to drink more i decided to do some gardening work on my fasting day yeah i must be nuts. So i am little dry but i am going to resist eating if i can until dinner time then that means i can have some spare calories to have a snack last thing at night..

Will decided later if i will continue the fasting until 7am wednesday morning instead of tuesday 7am.

Rough Measurements

Well weighed myself i am about 17 stones 12 so gained a few pounds but not a surprise i had to give up my fasting on thursday because i was quite ill and could not do the day fasting but all well now and back on track.

Because of the weight gain and the missed day n thursday i might do 2 days straight and still do thursday this week.

Quite surprised at the 6lb weight lost but even more the fact it seems to have been all fat and that is in 2 weeks.

Can this diet really help cancer?

Well the truth is it can, because once IGF 1 levels come down from there high state which basically has the body in overdrive so increasing the chance of abnormal cells which could cause cancer but i stress this is not 100% cure but it certainly could help reduce your risk or potential help fight cancer please read below about fighting it as it not guaranteed thing.

Once IGF 1 levels lowers apart from the body is not in overdrive state it also starts to repair itself and help stimulate new cell growth healthy ones not potential abnormal ones but again abnormal ones could still develop but the risk is lower with lower IGF 1 levels.

Ok so why do i say it could help potential cure someone with stage 1 to probably stage 3 cancer or at least give those in stage 4 or 5 longer time with their loved one, i doubt it would cure stage 4 or 5 but there been no research so it is very hard to say, this is based on my own research and hypothesis of what would likely to happen. As i say it could if you get your IGF 1 levels much lower the body could start fighting the cancer cells and destroy them and grow new healthy cells, but without live research ie someone who is diagnosed with stage 1 to 3 cancer actually doing this diet strict to the conditions and having there IGF 1 levels officially measured by blood works it is hard to say for sure but i honestly believe it could.

Ok so why would it not sotp stage 4 or 5 or why would it give those with this stage cancer more time with their loved ones? Well this is partial from research and hypothesis, the reason i believe it would not cure stage 4 or 5 is because once cancer gets to this stage it is generally widespread and the body is pretty much starting the shutdown stage, so for two reason i think it not work mostly because the body is too badly damaged to repair but in minor note switching to sudden big changing diet could kill you as well or make you really ill, if you really wanted to try this please be aware i am not saying it work consult with your doctor and family because it could have the adverse effect of shorten your life i have no way to say for sure, but please read what i will write below this it might help you make your choice but this is limited research on my part so would really need wider research before it could be sure.

So why do i think this might give you extended life in late stages of cancer, well the reason for this is from loved ones i have lost either through cancer or illness i have noticed something, when they were in the last stages of their life i mean weeks or days left, and this was what doctors told them you only have a week left or you only have a few days left they actually lived a little bit longer, now at the time i put this down to not doctors not being able to truly and accurately predict the life left on someone, but now i have thought about it, the ones who lived longer compared to the ones who had the lifespan predicted by the doctors technically went onto a fasting diet, not voluntary but because they were too ill to eat, so they were not eating and only really drinking water, so in effect they were doing a fasting diet so it is quite possible there IGF 1 levels dropped very quickly that the actual body started repairing itself, as i said above the damage will be that severe that it is really impossible to repair, but the body is trying to repair itself as such that is how they have lived a little longer than predicted.

Again i stress if you are at this sort of stage and decided you wanted to try this i can not guarantee you get extra life it could shorten it, i suggest speaking to your doctor and speciality doctor in the field of your illness and do research into this type of diet before trying also i strongly suggest speaking with your family they might not want to risk having less time with you.

Dinner

Well for dinner i will be having sausage mash and swede. Oh sausage is steak slice and swede is the big yellow one not turnip which is yellow or white which for some reason everyone seems to think is swede.

Midday snack

Well had 1/3 of 200g bar of asda chosen by you milk chocolate.

Lunch

I had cheese sandwich with tomato and some more tea

Breakfast

I had rice crisps with full fat milk and cup of tea

Fasting diet dinner and snack

So i had home made cottage pie which has been weighed and calculated to give fairly accurate calorie count of about 280-300 calories. For snack in the evening i had a bit of toast with small amount of jam for about 150 calories.

So my total calorie count today was about 570. I also weighed myself quickly and i am about 17 stone 10 lbs.

Fasting Day breakfast and lunch

So far i have only water and 2 plums for a total of 40 calories of my 600 calorie allowance for my fasting day, i will probably not have anything else until dinner at about 7pm apart from water.

Daily updates

I am thinking about posting daily updates saying what i am eating and drinking and exercise i get done, so those who are following this can see i am eating normally during the other 5 days, but i am curious if people would be interested.

Oh my weight when i unofficially weighed myself yesterday was 17 stones 12 lbs and when i started the diet i was about 18 stone 11 lbs which was about 4-5 weeks ago now

Type 2 Diabetics can be cured with this diet

Doctors, are now saying that some who have been doing this diet with type 2 diabetics have been cured and no longer have diabetics, this is for majority of type 2 diabetics taking this diet, the rest although not cured there diabetics is more under control and they need less insulin.

My guidance on intermittent fasting

NOTE:  Please be aware i am no expect only a scientist testing this diet on myself as i am seriously overweight and have a lot of inner dangerous fat.

So what does intermittent fasting do for it? it helps the body to start eat this fat up because it is the most rich in energy, as your body when fasting is needing energy it will eat the fat it has to get energy it requires.

So i am ideal weight would this be fine to do, as long as you eat healthy and eat properly during the 5 days you are not fasting yes this diet can help you.

I am under weight or i am pregnant can i do this diet? I would seriously recommended speaking to your doctors first, why do i say doctors because some are against it and some are for it, you need to balance out what they say and ask for a neutral opinion on it, but if you do it, be very very careful being underweight you could yourself, and being pregnant you could kill your unborn child

My own research so far on intermittent fasting

So what i have discovered is, even though in theory it should not work, it does work, the reason for this is even though you fast the day before, when you get to the normal day you do not overeat as i thought the body would do because it would be hungry.

The truth is the body is not hungry partially because it is eating your reserve fats and secondly because humans did not always eat 3 times a day 2500 calories in a day, this is more modern change to our society, where because we have access to so say unlimited food we basically eat 3 meals a day and eat our calorie count.

However prior to world war 2 we as humans never had the luxury of the amount of foods we have now, so the older generations had to be rationed and hard as it is to believe it is those people who have been living the longest because fasting actually helps you body repair itself and live longer, and if you are like me and have dangerous fat ie fat around your organs this diet helps eat it away unlike most other diets so helping your body recover from the abuse. In essence this diet is a way of detoxing your body of the badness that has built up over the years.

Debating 4/3

I am thinking about moving to 4/3 diet and do 2 days straight in a row, but i am already getting the benefits from the 5/2 just might help speed things up and give me real challenge 60 hours without really eating.

Update on diet

So it appears this diet is really working not just for weight lose but for improved brain activity so i am going to guess the tests done on animals for longevity of life and reduce risk of cancer will be true ass well.

So why is this diet working when in theory it should not lose weight, the reason it is working from my own experiments on my own body is when you start to fast your body has very limited supply of energy so starts to eat it own fat.

But why is it not over eating when the day after fasting your body will be need of energy, the reason i can see is because it is eating the fat reserve it is generate enough energy to go on.

But why are you not hungry, well that comes down to the fact we as human never used to eat this way i will be publishing research i have done soon.

Week 3ish of intermittent fasting diet

OK i am onto 3rd weekish of my fasting diet also called intermittent fasting. I will be taking my measurement soon to see if there is any difference, if there is not i am going to go more extreme and go to 4/3 fasting diet, but i will fast from 7 pm Sunday through to 7 am on Wednesday and fast on Thursday 7 pm to Saturday 7 am

IGF - 1 and Abdominal Fat

So what is IGF - 1 in simple terms and not the complex terms and descriptions you get on the web. What it is, is the body basically insulin which it makes to keep us going, however because this process keeps us going in what is refer to active state, the body never heals itself.

Now you will think oh but i get a cut and it heals over, or i break a bone and it heals back up, yes it does however the process is different, as the body is fixing itself when it has to, but your every day new cell growth etc starts to drop off after 25 because the body is no longer trying to grow new cells.

So what does lowering you IGF - 1 levels help do, well it has been proven in animals that it helps stimulated new brain cell growth and other body cell growth, so the body starts to repair say your heart and lungs is you damaged them in the past from say smoking, although not a 100% cure it help fix your body better than if your IGF - 1 levels are very high, which is quite common in most humans today.

So does it do anything else? Well early research suggests that IGF - 1 might be linked to cancer and other diseases of the body, because it helps speed them up, it helps the disease to grow and flourish so to say, so lowing IGF - 1 appears to lower your risk of cancer, heart disease etc.

Again i stress even after long field trials on people like me, this will not be guaranteed as the human body is very complex, but it should help you and increase your health and life expectancy to lower IGF - 1

So what is Abdominal fat? is it the fat that surrounds your organs, this type of fat is very dangerous for one it is crushing your organs, and two it can help cancer develop.

So what can i do about it, dieting  and eating foods with less saturated fat in will help.
