So what i have discovered is, even though in theory it should not work, it does work, the reason for this is even though you fast the day before, when you get to the normal day you do not overeat as i thought the body would do because it would be hungry.
The truth is the body is not hungry partially because it is eating your reserve fats and secondly because humans did not always eat 3 times a day 2500 calories in a day, this is more modern change to our society, where because we have access to so say unlimited food we basically eat 3 meals a day and eat our calorie count.
However prior to world war 2 we as humans never had the luxury of the amount of foods we have now, so the older generations had to be rationed and hard as it is to believe it is those people who have been living the longest because fasting actually helps you body repair itself and live longer, and if you are like me and have dangerous fat ie fat around your organs this diet helps eat it away unlike most other diets so helping your body recover from the abuse. In essence this diet is a way of detoxing your body of the badness that has built up over the years.
This is about intermittent fasting or 5/2 diet. This blog is about me and my diet, but it also about the science behind this diet and the benefits it can bring to you. I am putting my own body through this diet because i need to as i am dangerous position and this diet can help that but also bring other benefits. I am not a medical expert any advice i offer is based on my own research, please consult your own doctor before undertaken this.
